Baby massage
A rhythmic massage originating in Asia, designed to strengthen the bond between parent and child and reduce any complaints. Learn techniques that are also easy to apply at home.
Floating / hydrotherapy
Floating, also known as hydrotherapy, lets your baby experience what it feels like to be weightless in warm water. Floating supports your little one's development and can help remove any barriers.
Baby yoga/Baby massage
A playful massage using techniques designed to stimulate your baby's flexibility and mobility. The exercises are fun and engaging, making them a joy to do.
Paramedical
The baby spa is a paramedical organisation. This means it is not only a wonderful outing to enjoy with your little one, but can also contribute to a baby's mental and physical development.
Before your appointment, we ask you to complete an intake form so we can tailor the session to any contraindications and your little one's needs.
In some cases, both floating (hydrotherapy) and baby massage may be reimbursed by your health insurer. So check your policy and let us know if you need an invoice to submit a claim.
Baby massage
This rhythmic massage originally comes from India. Massaging your baby strengthens the bond and love between parent and child, creating a foundation of trust and relaxation.
In addition to being very relaxing and enjoyable, massage can also help with:
* Reducing colic
* Stretching
* Restless babies
* Babies who cry a lot
For premature babies or little ones who have had little or no contact with their parents for an extended period due to illness, this is also a wonderful way to restore and further build that connection.
You will perform the massage on your own baby under the guidance of our staff. We demonstrate the massage on a doll.
The massage lasts an average of 15 minutes, depending on your baby's stamina.
Suitable for babies from 6 weeks old up to crawling age (approximately 7 months).
Floating / Hydrotherapy
In a specially designed mini jacuzzi, your little one can splash around to their heart's content and enjoy the freedom of weightlessness in the water. Floating supports both emotional and physical development and therefore contributes to;
* Muscle development
* Immune system
* Breathing
* Digestion
* Blood circulation
Hydrotherapy can help when your little one suffers from:
* Colic
* Poor sleep routine
* Reflux
* Cries a lot
* Eczema
We have 2 baths filled with warm water at approximately 36 degrees. The baths are cleaned and refilled after every session. The water is purified and free from chlorine, soap, salt and chemicals.
For floating, we use a special float, with 4 options to choose from:
* Neck float (0–6 months old)
* Chest float (0-12 months old)
* Back float (0–12 months old)
* Seat float (6-12 months old)
The ages above are guidelines and may vary depending on a child’s length, weight and mood. The float rings are BPA-free and safe according to European standards.
The float session lasts between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on your baby's stamina.
Baby yoga / Play massage
Under the guidance of a baby yoga instructor, you will learn to apply a range of playful massage techniques. These techniques are designed to promote your baby’s flexibility and mobility.
Babies love to play and make contact. During baby yoga, you therefore won't learn complicated techniques; instead, you'll learn how to enjoy time with your little one in a fun and accessible way. Baby yoga also offers a number of benefits:
* Baby yoga promotes your baby’s flexibility and mobility
* Singing and talking are good for language development
* Some techniques may help relieve discomfort, such as colic
* Your baby’s body awareness increases
* Strengthens the bond between parent and child
* Provides relaxation and enjoyment
A fun and playful way to spend time with your little one. Enjoyment and relaxation for both of you!
