Who is the baby spa for?
For a visit to the baby spa, it's important that the baby is at least 6 weeks old, has grown past their birth weight, and their navel is completely dry. If the baby was born premature or dysmature, you can use a minimum weight of 3 kilograms plus the conditions mentioned above. The age limit of 12 months is for practical reasons: after a certain point, babies become too old, meaning they don't fit in the bath as well and are more likely to play and therefore relax less. We also consider length and weight, and apply a limit of 80 cm and 10 kg. For practical and safety reasons, baby massage can be booked up to crawling age (approximately 7 months old). During regular sessions, a maximum of two adults are allowed per baby (minimum age 16). During private sessions, this can be up to four adults. Please note: Our concept is specifically designed for babies in their first year of life, with a calm and intimate atmosphere tailored to their needs. To ensure the best possible experience, older siblings are not permitted. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for respecting this policy.

When is the baby spa not a good idea?
If your baby has one or more of the contraindications listed below, we ask you to postpone the session. If in doubt, consult a doctor. * Increased temperature or fever * Flu / RS virus * First 48 hours after vaccinations * Acute infections * Heart problems * High blood pressure * Serious vascular diseases * Infectious diseases * Open wound * Contagious skin irritations * Cancer / leukemia * Antibiotics * Anti-inflammatory drugs * Hip abnormality * Recovery period after surgery * Swollen lymph nodes * Internal bleeding * Diarrhea

What should I bring?
The sessions include the use of: * Swim diaper & swim trunks * Floating ring BPA free and safe according to the European standard * 100% Natural massage oil * Towels (Hypoallergenic washed) To ensure that your little one doesn't get cold during the session, the spa is warm. You may find it comforting to wear light clothing or a cardigan, or to wear sleeves that can be easily rolled up. It is best to leave jewelry at home/off. Please bring: * Clean diaper * Pacifier * Cuddle cloth, rattle, teething ring or other object your little one is familiar with * Extra food

What payment methods do you accept?
During the reservation process, we ask you to pay a deposit of 50% of the reservation value or to provide a gift card number. In addition to cash and debit card payments, we also accept the following payment methods: - Visa - Mastercard - American Express - UnionPay - Discover - Google Pay - Apple Pay - Caresse Babyspa gift card* *Caresse Babyspa is not responsible or liable for loss, theft, forgery or misuse, in any form whatsoever, of the gift card. Make sure you bring your gift card to your appointment. Without a gift card, we cannot redeem it, and the appointment must be paid using another payment method.

What about hygiene?
After each session, the baths are cleaned with eco-friendly cleaning products and refilled with tap water. The water is purified and free of chlorine, soap, salt, and chemicals. All textiles are replaced, and the dressers and other contact points are also thoroughly cleaned.

Is floating safe?
During float sessions, we use specially designed, non-inflatable float rings. These float rings are made of durable pearl foam, providing perfect buoyancy and preventing deflation or leakage. The inside of the ring is lined with skin-friendly elastic material to protect baby's skin, and the neck ring features a double closure with a child safety lock. The float ring is BPA-free and safe according to European standards.

How often do you need to come to see an effect?
While most babies visibly enjoy the benefits of massage and floating from the very first time, we're convinced your baby will benefit even more from regular visits to the baby spa. Your little one needs about two to three visits before they're accustomed to the new stimuli. Regular visits also contribute to muscle development, motor skills, and digestion, and boost circulation, breathing, and the immune system.

What is the cancellation policy?
By making an appointment (after receiving the confirmation by email), your appointment is final and you agree to the terms and conditions. Cancellation/rescheduling Up to 24 hours before the start: Free of charge Between 24 and 12 hours before the start: You pay 50% of the reservation value After 12 hours before the start or in case of a 'no show': You pay 100% of the reservation value Cancellations or rescheduling can be done via: info@caressebabyspa.nl Late Make sure you are on time for your appointment. You have access to the spa 5 minutes before the start. If you are late for your appointment, please call us so we are aware (Tel: 06-30781306). Please note that this time cannot be made up and therefore the full booked session may not be possible. The booked reservation amount still applies.

How can I exchange/return an item?
If you're not satisfied with your item, you can always return it within 14 days, provided it's still in its original condition—in its packaging, unworn, and undamaged. Register your return via info@caressebabyspa.nl, stating "return" followed by your invoice number. You, the customer, are responsible for paying for the return shipping costs (from you back to us). Please note: you are responsible for this shipping. Packages with a stamp don't always arrive. Therefore, we recommend sending your package with a track and trace code. Unfortunately, we cannot process returns that haven't arrived. Of course, you can also return your item to the Baby Spa (by appointment). The full purchase price will be refunded to your account within 14 days of receipt. Items can be exchanged by appointment at the Baby Spa, subject to availability.
